Oh sweet sweet monitor

I work for a company that supports a specific software. The developers of that software have made an agreement with my employers to have me design some material for the next couple months. Over here, they have given me a 24 inch monitor. I always used to talk bad about huge monitors. I don’t have anything against them, just personally I feel they get too large….I am used to 17inch and 19 inch monitors. Now my preference has changed to this 24inch. I really want one. I have noticed something interesting. I have a lot more canvas space to work with (that’s obvious), but most of all I have seen myself be more organized with where I store files, how I store them etc. I don’t know if that has anything to do with using a larger monitor, and the psychology of things…but all I can say is it makes me happy. Am I weird?

How Great is our God

If you haven’t watched the entire DVD of Louie Giglio from Passion….entitled “How great is our God”….well YOU NEED TO. I watched it last night with my parents, and it was incredible. It completely widened my perspective of God, and how finite we are, yet the God of all creation is intimately concerned about what we do, and who he has designed us to become. Seriously, this video has instilled so much faith in me, it is incredibly difficult to describe. Almost as if, the issues in my life aren’t as big as I make them out to be. Yes, the obstacles and mountains are still hard, but God gives the grace and peace to “throw the mountain into the sea.” Derek mentioned this on wednesday night.

Anyway, if you don’t believe me, get the stinkin’ DVD and watch it for yourself, and let me know what you think. I believe there are clips on YouTube.com and GodTube.com…..but I don’t think the whole thing is on there. Blessings!
