The Devil don’t like prayer.

Haha. Ok let me explain.

I committed on Sunday that I was going to go to prayer at 6am for the nation. I tried to hit bed early so I wouldn’t be so tired when I woke up. Something happened that NEVER happens…..I woke up at 4am with a huge pain in my chest. I was thinking of calling in sick, because the pain was not going away and I felt like throwing up. I was tossing and turning for a good hour and fifteen minutes.

I came to the conclusion that the devil just did NOT want me to be at prayer this morning. Even being half asleep I processed that and prayed: “God, I thank you that you are bigger than any sickness and disease. I thank you that what the enemy intended for evil, you in intended for good. In Jesus’ name. Amen.” That’s all it took, and within 15 minutes, I felt better and was ready to head off to prayer. Good thing, ’cause this morning was filled with intense and expectant faith. God is seriously so good to us.

I then got to come home and sleep for another hour and a half before having to get ready for work. It was glorious. Good way to start the day out. Some good ole’ fashion prayer.

Anybody else wake up at 4am? Tell me your story.

Luke 16:10

This verse talks about how if you are faithful in the little you will also be faithful in much.

I have usually only applied this to myself. If I’m faithful in my finances, relationships, work, responsibilities, etc that I would be faithful when God does give me more to handle.

But the truth is…God has been the most incredible example of this verse. He has always been and will always be faithful. He has been faithful in the very little details of our lives. Meaning since he has been faithful in the little that he WILL be faithful in the huge circumstances of life. That means we don’t have to worry. No more doubting. We can put our trust fully into Jesus and his word. Such a relief. God is so good. I thank Jesus for being faithful in my life and the lives of everyone around me. He has, he is, and will continue to be faithful. Forever.

How has God been faithful in your life?
