Honestly, what better way to start out a year, than to worship God at 12am sharp. The Waiting Kind had the privilege of leading worship for the gc*B youth all-niter. As the countdown hit, we raised our glasses (with sparkling cider), and then kicked it off with some sick praise to the creator. Below are some pics. The first pic is my good buddy, Scott Curtis. He shared his incredible testimony. He is also a professional snowboarder. The fuzzy one, is me trying to take a pic, in a section of the song where I was not playing.

One of my favorite quotes is: “How you leave one season, is how you will enter another. If you leave a season strong, you will enter the new one strong.” I wholeheartedly believe this. To be honest, I have had a pretty rough year, but all in all, God has shown himself faithful. I was able to end this year strong, and enter 2009 even stronger. He’s done things in me, that I never thought were possible. He’s allowed me to do things I never thought I would be able to do.
Ephesians 3:20 (The Message)
“God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.”
Philippians 3:13-14 (NIV)
“…Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
