Here is a little different feel as far as colors are concerned. This is the new GoFishMedia brand. We have been changing all of our graphics, twitter, labels, emails, signatures, etc, to match this feel.

New GoFishMedia Logos!

With this logo, we were trying to go for a real modern “media” look. With the gradients used I created a “glass” effect. The icon on the left had the circle in the middle, but I modified it to the left hand side, so it looks like like a tadpole. Not incredibly evident, but if you look at it you’ll eventually see it. I wanted to stay away from cheesy, and keep the modern/fresh look. I also had to modify the text so that “GoFish” is one word, instead of separated. The only way to accomplish this was to pull media, and stick it under the main text.

We wanted to make sure that the logo was scalable, as well as be able to be used on a black or white background. (see below)

I am excited for this logo.

I have been having a lot of crazy dreams lately. They just don’t make sense.

Dream (3/24/09):

For some reason Derek and I were at a coffee shop that looked like an ice cream parlor.

He mentioned the drink I should get, that had 4 squirts of peanut butter, and 4 squirts of chocolate. Weird. We were watching TV, which seemed to be some kind of news channel. We somehow were being video taped, and Derek and I began emailing Whoopi Goldberg & Ophrah Winfrey. Not exactly sure why. The funny part is they responded to our email, saying they saw us, and knew exactly who we were because we were on TV, and were very pleased with how our CD was turning out. Bogus.

I don’t remember anything else. Haha. What have you been dreaming lately?

New Hours Graphic

You may or may not know, I am the graphic designer at a company called GoFishMedia. We sell and support SongShow Plus, as well as a few other packages. This is the newest graphic I designed yesterday for our new support hours on Sundays. This, as well as my previous (40/40) magazine ad, were designed very differently than I am used to. Take not of a few things that I believe made this design unique:

1. The slight gradient used in the “You’ve Spoken.”

2. The subtle “grey” drop shadow behind “You’ve Spoken” & “We Listened” to give it a little more depth.

3. The font choice for “We listened.”

4. The tracking used on “You’ve Spoken.” The font is Myriad Pro (Bold), and the tracking is set to -100.

5. The overall simplicity of the design.

What are your thoughts?

Here are a couple more pics from the studio. First pic is me doing an EQ check for our engineer, Dave Goetter. Props to this guy, not only an amazing engineer, but the best guitarist on the face of the planet. Anddd….he loves Chocolate Teddy Grahams. Pretty sure I got him hooked on them. :) And the second pic, is me setting up the LIVE feed from the studio. Thanks to everyone who joined, it was a great experience for us all!
